What does a supplier quality review check?
It checks that the records a supplier sends really support the project's quality requirements. A certificate may show the wrong grade or type. An ITP stage may miss a hold point. A weld may have no qualified procedure behind it. The review finds these before inspection or handover.
Start from the inspection and test plan guide and the certificate types in EN 10204 3.1 vs 3.2.
Which OdysseyGPT tools do this?
| Tool | What it checks |
|---|---|
| Material Certificate Review | Material test certificates against purchase requirements: chemistry, mechanical tests, heat treatment, heat numbers and EN 10204 type |
| Material Traceability Check | The chain from equipment tag down to the material certificate |
| Welding Qualification Review | WPS, PQR and welder records against every weld on the weld map |
| ITP Validator | A proposed ITP against the customer's quality specification and PO quality clauses |
| Inspection Readiness Check | Whether an inspection stage can go ahead, with blockers kept apart from advisory items |
What do you get back?
- Findings per record, with the record value and the requirement quoted.
- Missing, conflicting or ambiguous evidence, flagged.
- A list your quality engineers can work through and export.
The same evidence helps at bid stage too. Certificate and test requirements often end up on the technical deviation list.
Where do people stay in control?
Your quality team chooses the records and the requirements to check against. OdysseyGPT does not approve or reject a supplier. It shows the evidence so the responsible engineer can decide. See OdysseyGPT for manufacturing.
