What does a handover review check?
At handover, the customer checks your documents against their own list. That list is the vendor data requirements list and the manufacturing record book (MRB) index. A handover review runs the same check first, so gaps are closed before the customer finds them.
See the VDRL guide for how the list is set up at order stage.
Which OdysseyGPT tools do this?
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| VDRL/MDR Tracker | Turns the customer's VDRL into a register with due dates, revisions and status |
| MRB Readiness Check | Shows which required documents are present, missing, at the wrong revision or awaiting approval |
| MRB Traceability Verification | Checks the links between records: tag, heat, certificate, weld, test and approval |
| MRB Compiler | Maps approved records to the customer's index and plans the final record book |
What do you get back?
- A completeness list against the customer's index, with each status cited.
- Broken or conflicting record chains, quoted.
- A compilation manifest in index order, exported as CSV or JSON.
Deviations agreed at bid stage often decide what the MRB must hold. Keep the technical deviation list with the handover package.
Where do people stay in control?
Your document controllers choose the folder and the index. OdysseyGPT plans the book; your team finishes and sends it. See OdysseyGPT for manufacturing.
