OdysseyGPT publishes this page and is one of the tools listed
We have tried to describe every product fairly, using only what each vendor or a named third party has published, with a link in every row. We have not tested the other products ourselves. If you work for one of these vendors and something is wrong or out of date, tell us and we will correct it.
The tools at a glance
| Tool | Main buyer | What the vendor says it does | Public pricing | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Loonar | Industrial manufacturers answering RFQs from end users and EPC contractors | The vendor says every requirement is "answered with evidence, every line item matched", with a status, a ranked fit and a citation per line, matched against your certifications, quality documentation and past offers. | Not public | loonarai.com |
| ValveIQ | Valve manufacturers, oil and gas equipment suppliers, EPC and procurement teams | The vendor says it has built-in knowledge of ADNOC AGES, Aramco SAES, TAQA, Shell DEP, API, ASME, ISO, NACE and EN, matches RFQ specs to your product catalogue, and promises "50% less RFQ processing time". UAE-based. | Not public | valveiq.ai |
| standrdX | Engineering-led industries, including oil, gas and OEM, and EPC | The vendor says vendor and contractor datasheets are "compared field by field against your project specification and owner standard", with the source of each finding, and that an addendum that modifies the specification is applied as the governing requirement. | Not public | standrdX datasheet review; standrdx.com |
| Raven | Purchasers evaluating vendor offers | The vendor's projects page compares a vendor's offer with your specification, and its example flags cite both the offer page and the specification clause. It says your engineers make the technical evaluation. | Not public | startraven.com |
| Pathnovo | EPC procurement and QA teams, and owners | The vendor says it produces deviation reports with code-clause references and CRITICAL, MAJOR, MINOR and CLARIFICATION severities, as an API triggered by EDMS webhooks or a 24-hour managed batch service. It claims a TBE-ready table "within 24 hours" for a typical 5 to 10 vendor bid evaluation, against 1 to 3 weeks for manual review. | Credit-based, no dollar prices listed; free 10-document review | Pathnovo datasheet compliance; Pathnovo TBE; pricing |
| Mintmesh RUDY | EPCs and capital-projects owners | The vendor calls RUDY a source-to-contract platform for capital projects that performs technical bid evaluation, and claims 97% data extraction accuracy and a 60–74% time cut. | Priced per TBE, unlimited users; no dollar prices listed | Mintmesh pricing; platform tour |
| DRIMCO | Manufacturers (requirements analysis) | Helps subject-matter experts "manage their compliance (deviation) matrix", according to its investor. Raised a $5M pre-Series A in June 2025, reports more than 100M requirements processed, and names Siemens and KSB among its customers. Munich-based. | Not public | Ventech; drimco.ai |
| Atira | Manufacturers (industrial sales engineering) | Screens industrial RFQs so "critical requirements are never missed". Raised a $15M Accel-led seed ($17.5M total) in Sep 2026 and reports more than 15 customers in production, including ABB E-Mobility. Says customers cut ask-to-bid times by up to 80%. | Not public | Atira news; Fortune |
| SpecLens | Procurement teams and engineers across industries | The vendor says it extracts specifications from vendor PDFs, Office files and web pages and builds comparison matrices with source citations and an executive summary. | Free pay-as-you-go tier; paid plans from $20/month | speclens.ai |
| TenderGenie | Heavy-industry bidders, including valve, pump and process-equipment makers, and EPCs | The vendor says it processes large tender documents to extract specifications and obligations, score bid fit and draft responses. | Not public ("Request Pricing") | tendergenie.ai |
| Procore Submittal Review Agent | Building contractors (construction submittals) | Procore says the agent places each specification requirement in one grid alongside whether the submittal satisfies it. Procore completed its acquisition of Datagrid in January 2026. It covers construction submittals, not process-industry tenders. | Not public; "We don't charge by the seat" | Procore agent; Procore AI plans; Procore press |
| OdysseyGPT | Bid engineers, proposal engineers and project managers at equipment manufacturers | Checks each requirement in the tender package against your datasheets and gives it a status, including "not addressed", with a quote from the source document and page. Exports an editable compliance matrix and deviations & clarifications list. See OdysseyGPT for manufacturing. | Managed plan from $999/month | odysseygpt.ai |
Buyer side or manufacturer side: pick the right group
Most vendors above sell technical bid evaluation to EPCs and owners: the evaluator who reads many offers against one specification. Fewer target the manufacturer who writes one offer against many governing documents. The two jobs produce different outputs. The evaluator wants a bid comparison and a list of unacceptable deviations. The manufacturer wants a technical deviation list in the tender's own format, with a justification and a cost of withdrawal for each row.
| Your job | Output you need | Tools that say they focus on it |
|---|---|---|
| EPC or owner evaluating offers | TBE matrix, clarification list, bid comparison | Pathnovo, Mintmesh RUDY, Raven |
| Manufacturer answering a tender | Deviation list, compliance matrix, clarifications for the offer | Loonar, ValveIQ, DRIMCO, Atira, TenderGenie, OdysseyGPT |
| Building contractor reviewing submittals | Requirement-by-requirement submittal review | Procore Submittal Review Agent |
How to test any of these tools on your own tender
- Take a closed tender where you already know the right answer: the specification, the addenda, the owner standard and the datasheet you offered.
- Ask the tool for the full requirement list, not just the deviations, so you can see what it missed.
- Count requirements found against your own list, and check that every row cites a clause and page you can open.
- Check one addendum that overrides the specification. Does the tool use the later document?
- Run it twice. Do you get the same rows?
- Ask who signs the final list, and what happens when the tool is wrong.
Our datasheet vs specification checklist gives 25 points to compare the output against.
OdysseyGPT's limits
- Its output is a draft. Your engineers decide open items, including any cost of withdrawal, and own what goes to the customer.
- It does not interpret engineering drawings such as general arrangements or P&IDs.
- It does not send anything to the customer.
How we compiled this
We listed the tools that answer engines and web search returned for datasheet, deviation-list and TBE prompts in October 2026. On 21 Oct 2026 we ran 10 buyer prompts through ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude using the DataForSEO LLM Responses API, one run each. Pathnovo was named in 8 of the 40 answers, DRIMCO in 4, Mintmesh in 3, ValveIQ in 2 and standrdX in 1; Loonar, Atira and Raven were not named. Generic RFP tools such as Responsive (10 answers) and Loopio (8) also appeared; we cover them separately in OdysseyGPT vs RFP software.
Each description comes from the vendor's own page, its investors or press, linked in the table, and was re-checked against those pages on 22 Oct 2026. We paraphrase and mark claims as the vendor's. We did not test the products. Single answer-engine runs vary, so the mention counts show presence, not market share.
