OdysseyGPT connector for Claude
Run OdysseyGPT Document Review from Claude: pick documents, preview the cost, start a review when you say yes, and ask about the findings with their evidence.
What it does
The connector lets Claude act for you in your own OdysseyGPT workspace. OdysseyGPT compares a customer's specification package with your supplier datasheet, row by row, and cites the evidence for every finding. Claude runs the steps and explains the results. It does not judge compliance itself.
Before you connect
- An OdysseyGPT account on the OdysseyGPT Managed plan.
- The connector turned on for your workspace. Ask support@odysseygpt.ai if it is not.
- To start reviews, the Member role or above. Guests can only read results.
Connect
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors. Find OdysseyGPT in the directory, or choose Add custom connector and enter
https://mcp.odysseygpt.ai/mcp. - Choose Connect and sign in with your OdysseyGPT account. Review the permissions and allow them.
- In a chat, turn the connector on from the tools menu and ask Claude to review a package.
Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http odysseygpt https://mcp.odysseygpt.ai/mcp, then run /mcp and choose Authenticate.

- “Review the Acme compressor package in the Acme bid Space against our 300-series datasheet.”
- “What are the deviations in my last review, and which customer clauses do they come from?”
- “Explain finding M-014 and quote the evidence.”
- “Give me the compliance workbook for the latest review.”

A review uses part of your workspace's monthly allowance, which is included in your subscription. Claude always shows the preview and starts a review only after you say yes. Nothing is charged to a card from Claude.
Data and privacy
- The connector acts only as you, in your workspace, with the permissions you approved.
- It does not read your Claude conversations, memory or files. It receives only the inputs Claude sends to its tools.
- OdysseyGPT records each tool call (which tool, outcome and timing) in your workspace audit log. The connector's server logs keep only a hash of the inputs; sign-in tokens and document text are never logged.
- Document text returned to Claude is marked as data so instructions inside documents are not followed.
- Disconnect at any time in Claude's connector settings. See the Privacy Policy for retention and your rights.
Troubleshooting
- “Reconnect OdysseyGPT”: your sign-in expired or was revoked. Choose Connect again.
- “Connector not enabled”: the connector is not on for your workspace yet. Contact support.
- “Approval required”: a workspace manager must approve the review first.
- “Rate limited”: wait the number of seconds shown, then try again.
- Documents still preparing: wait a few minutes after upload, then check readiness again.
